To make this official, this is a notice to inform all JAMB and WAEC candidates who will be sitting for the upcoming JAMB examination that JAMB subject combination for Food Technology has been released by the management of the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB).

Keep in mind that the JAMB subject combinations as well as the o level (WAEC) requirements mentioned on this post are only meant for Food Technology under the faculty of Engineering, Environment and Technology.

JAMB Subject Combination For Food Technology

The required JAMB subject subject combination for Food Technology are:

Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics or Biology.

Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks

(i) UI does not accept Biology

(ii) BELLS accepts physics/mathematics.

WAEC (O Level) Subject Requirements For Food Technology

The list of compulsory WAEC subjects required for Food Technology under the faculty of are as follows:

Five SSCE credit passes to include Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English Language and any other Science subject

Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks

(i) BELLS requires five SSCE Credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, Physics/ Agricultural Science/ Geography or Economics/ Food and Nutrition. May consider a pass in Physics at O’ level.

(ii) UI accept ND/HND at upper credit level.

(iii) UI accepts 2 ‘A’ level passes in Physics and
Mathematics plus UTME requirements. Accepts also
ND/HND at upper credit level {65%} accepted to 200/300 Upper levels respectively plus UTME requirements. Knowledge of Further Mathematics is an advantage for all Engineering Courses.
