To make this official, this is a notice to inform all JAMB and WAEC candidates who will be sitting for the upcoming JAMB examination that JAMB subject combination for Fine Art has been released by the management of the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB).

Keep in mind that the JAMB subject combinations as well as the o level (WAEC) requirements mentioned on this post are only meant for Fine Art under the faculty of Engineering, Environment and Technology.

The required JAMB subject subject combination for Fine Art are:

Chemistry, Mathematics and Fine Art/Physics

Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks

(i) OAU requires Fine Arts and two other subjects. The two subjects to be chosen from options in UTME requirements.

(ii) ABU requires Using of English, Fine Arts and any two other subjects.

WAEC (O Level) Subject Requirements For Fine Art

The list of compulsory WAEC subjects required for Fine Art under the faculty of are as follows:

Five SSCE credit passes to include English Language, Fine Art, Mathematics, Chemistry. Spinning; Weaving; Surface Design and Printing; Bleaching, Dyeing and Finishing; Ceramics; Graphic Design; Graphic Printing; Decorative Painting, Spray Painting, Lining, Sign and Design, Wall Hanging, Colour Mixing/Matching and Glazing, Building/Engineering Drawing, General Wood Work.

Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks

(i) OAU ‘O’ level courses should include English Language, Fine Art and any three of History, Religious Knowledge, Igbo, Yoruba, Literature-in-English, Music, French and Economics.

(ii) ABU requires five ‘O’ level passes two of which must include English Language and Fine Arts
