The required JAMB subject subject combination for English and Literary Studies are:
Literature-in-English, one other Arts subject and another Arts or Social Science subject.
WAEC (O Level) Subject Requirements For English and Literary Studies
The list of compulsory WAEC subjects required for English and Literary Studies under the faculty of are as follows:
Five SSCE credit passes to include Literature in English and English Language.
Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks
(i) KASU accepts only subjects from Arts or Social Science
(ii) NDU requires five ‘O’ level credit passes in English, Literature in English and any other three subjects, two of which must be Arts subjects.
(iii) AKUTECH require five O/L credit passes to include English Language, Literature in English and three other subjects in Arts or Social Science.
(iv) FUOYE also requires credit pass in one Science subject and at least a pass in Mathematics.
(v) UNN requires a Science subject.
