To make this official, this is a notice to inform all JAMB and WAEC candidates who will be sitting for the upcoming JAMB examination that JAMB subject combination for Creative Arts has been released by the management of the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB).

Keep in mind that the JAMB subject combinations as well as the o level (WAEC) requirements mentioned on this post are only meant for Creative Arts under the faculty of Arts and Humanities.

JAMB Subject Combination For Creative Arts

The required JAMB subject subject combination for Creative Arts are:

Fine Art and two other Arts subjects or Social Science subject.

Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks

(i) UNILAG accepts any one of Fine Art, Literature in English, Music, one additional Arts subject plus any related subject.

(ii) UNIPORT accepts any three subjects.

WAEC (O Level) Subject Requirements For Creative Arts

The list of compulsory WAEC subjects required for Creative Arts under the faculty of are as follows:

Five SSCE credit passes to include English Language and Fine Art.
For holders of NTC, the relevant subjects could be General Wood work, Building/Engineering Drawing, Introduction to Building Construction; Decorative Painting; Spray Painting, Linig, Sign and Design; Wall hanging, Colour Mixing/Matching and Glazing; Printing Origination; Machine Printing and Finishing; General Metal Work, Basic Electricity, Spinning, Weaving, Surface Design and Printing; Bleaching, Dyeing and Finishing; Graphic Design; Graphic
For holders of NTC, the relevant subjects could be General Wood work, Building/Engineering Drawing, Introduction to Building Construction; Decorative Painting; Spray Painting, Linig,Sign and Design; Wall hanging, Colour Mixing/Matching and Glazing; Printing Origination; Machine Printing and Finishing; General Metal Work, Basic Electricity, Spinning, Weaving, Surface Design and Printing; Bleaching, Dyeing and Finishing; Graphic Design; Graphic Printing and Ceramics.

Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks

(i) UNILAG requires Mathematics and any of Music, Fine Art or Literature-in-English and two other related subjects one of which must be an Arts subject.

(ii) UNIPORT requires three subjects from Literature in English, CRK/IRK, Economics, Maths/Biology/Agric. Sc., a Nigerian Language, History/Government and geography.

(iii) UNN requires five credits pass to include English Language Fine and Applied Arts and one Science subject. Candidates who possess NABTEB/NTC must have 5 credit passes which must include English language, Technical drawing, Painting and decorating and a science subject.
